Happy Tuesday! Sorry for not posting much last week or on Friday, it was a very busy week at my conference and even busier weekend.

I’m going to be honest with y’all…I sucked at my conference. I really tried my best but there were 2 obstacles I faced (and let win):

1. I don’t get to choose the food options. I had no say over the overall options (although I did have options from the options offered (?) ). And I didn’t do very well – ate carbs when I wasn’t supposed to. Ate meat on my veggie day. Just bad.

2. I don’t get to choose the timing of my meals. Our schedules were pretty tight and on the day I’m supposed to fast until noon, we weren’t scheduled to eat until 12:45/1. And our breaks were all over the place with timing.

Needless to say, these 2 things led me to suck! And I gained like 5 lbs haha. I also skipped the run in the morning because homeboy was tired.

It got me thinking though, how do people who travel all of the time, so this? My mind subconsciously went on vacation mode and I wasn’t on vacation. So how do others do it? I have no idea – if you know, tell me for future trips haha.

But instead of being upset with myself on doing poorly last week, I restarted on Saturday with my normal schedule. I plan on running 2x during the week this week with a long run on Saturday. I’m signing up for a 5K on June 30th (dumb, it’s going to be so hot!) with my friend so I have to stay on top of it! I also signed up for a self pace race to run 25 total miles for the whole month of June. So lots to keep me focused!!

AND IT’S IN THE UPPER 90s/LOW 100s AND I CANT BE THIS BIG AND SWEATING ALL THE TIME JUST WALKING TO MY CAR. Not prepared.
